This is a list of some jargain that is used by Disney Cast Members. A lot of this is from my own experience working at Disney. However even in Disney, there are a lot of different names for the same thing, so don't pm saying that that is "wrong". --------------------------------------------
[/center] Cast Member - Any person employed for the Disney Company. Does not necessarily means you are actually performing.
Code V - Formally known as "Protein Spill". When a guest throws up.
Costume - Any Cast Member's uniform. Except at ESPN's Wide World Of Sports.
Guest - All costumers of Walt Disney World Resort, not just people that are staying at one of the hotels.
Main Gate Pass - Every Cast Member has a Main Gate pass that allows them free passes into the parks for their friends and family. Your Cast Member status (full-time, part-time, etc.) determines how many passes you can get per year. Each pass will let up to three guests enter the park. Note: Cast Members can enter any park for free with their Cast Member I.D.
MATRA - The cashier computers anywhere around the resort. MATRA is also the place where you clock in and out of for your shift.
Onstage/Backstage - Any time you are fulfilling your job duties. Ex. A Cast Member stocking at the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. would be onstage at that moment until they go "Backstage", somewhere where guests can't see or go.
Utilidor - Considered the 1st Floor of the Magic Kingdom. A series of tunnels that Cast Members use to enter/exit and get around the Magic Kingdom. It is also where cast members go on their breaks.
That is all I can think of for now. If you would like to add to this list, just post below!
