Super Heroes Don't Exist
One month ago most people would have told you that. The stories about superman and batman, they were just that, stories. No one had any idea that stirring beneath the surface was something they didn't even think was real.
In a small suburb of Chicago a woman no one even knew had super powers, went ballistic at her sons school and without warning she blew up the building and the surrounding few blocks. No one knew what to do, until the newly elected mayor of Chicago, Xavier Loyd, had contacted the government and on top of aid they were sending a group called the Super Power Restriction Unit (SPRU).
These specially trained agents, some human some 'supers', were brought in to help find and capture supers that refused to register with the government. As the media demonizes anyone with powers supers are taking more care to stay hidden and people are looking more closely to try and find them. With people having every power form telepathy to invisibility anything could happen at any time and it's making people nervous. After all, how well do you really know what your neighbors do behind closed doors, or what you may say is crawling in your skin.
